Mental Health Awareness Week 9-15 May 2022 – Loneliness

In the last two years, there has been a welcome change in our attitude to our mental health and more acceptance that we all face problems and challenges in our lives which can make us feel stressed, anxious, vulnerable, sad, lonely, disconnected and sometimes completely out of control of our destiny.

Our culture is changing and we are as a society realising the importance of looking after our mental health and being more open about discussing it with refreshing honesty.

Here at Lumen, we give our clients the time with a doctor to discuss anything that is concerning them and we assess the signs and symptoms of problems such as stress, anxiety and depression, work-life imbalance and “burnout” in a highly discrete and confidential environment.

We have diagnosed all of these conditions and many more.

It is important to know what our clients are experiencing.

We fully realise that “wellness” is as much if not more about a healthy mind as it is a healthy body and our holistic approach is an important factor in providing an in-depth analysis of our client’s overall health.

As well as having the latest high tech scans to detect physical illness we also understand that a compassionate “scan” of our clients’ emotional health is of at least equal importance.

The mind and body are complex dance partners and both need to be in the same rhythm to perform at their best to the music of life.

A grand staircase with black carpet and ornate iron railings ascends in a well-lit hallway, leading to Reception. The walls, white with decorative paneling, set a serene ambiance for your full body health scan in London.
