This is a selection of some of the tests that can be performed alone (with a doctor consultation) or added, if clinically indicated, at any of the advanced health assessments as part of our personalised bespoke service.
It is by no means an exhaustive list.
(Additional costs apply)
If part of a Lumen health assessment.
Stand-alone scan.
(Eg lumbar spine, knee, hip, ankle joint with audiovisual sensory in-bore experience).
MRI scans of brain, the brain arteries, abdomen, pelvis and central arteries with audiovisual sensory in bore experience.
This is a special MRI scan of the liver which takes less than 10 minutes to perform and can provide our doctors with important information about the health of the liver.
It uses special software to analyse specific metrics which relate to:-
It has also been shown to outperform FibroScan® TE (transient elastography), FIB-4 blood test, and have similar performance to invasive liver biopsy.

This scan can be useful when the health of the liver is in question, or if the liver is fatty on our other abdominal scans or if we are concerned that there may be iron overload within the liver- for example, if a genetic condition called haemochromatosis is suspected.
This scan can be added to a Lumen health assessment or can be performed as a stand-alone test if clinically appropriate.
This is a low dose CT scan of the heart which uses a computer software to measure the level of calcium deposition in the coronary arteries taking blood to the heart muscle and is used as a risk stratification tool for heart disease.
This is a high resolution CT scan which can measure the calcium score but can also look inside the main coronary arteries to determine if any soft plaque is present and this can be analysed to see if there are any high risk features or if there are any narrowings (stenosis) of the coronary arteries. Most of the lung fields can also be analysed and reported by thoracic radiologists at the same time to maximise the benefit of the scan.
